Please find the summer program guide for the first week of summer programming attached. Also, as a general reminder, the WV Recreation Department is operating all summer programs from our location at the WV Academy, adjacent to the Snow's Mtn. Chairlift. We will not be offering any open gym or open basketball programs this summer, due to our lack of a gym at our Academy location.
Thank you.

2010 Mainstage Season
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Opens Wednesday, July 14
Can you spell H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S? Nominated for six Broadway Tony Awards, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a tuneful, offbeat and smart musical depicting six adolescents, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Each performance, the witty cast recruits audience member to participate onstage as guest spellers, guaranteeing a new self hilarious and unexpected experiences each night. This Bee is anything but typical!
Altar Boyz
Opens Thursday, July 22
Opens Thursday, August 5
This wildly warm-hearted show kicks off when the hilariously loony musical troupe Music Hall Royale performs their adaptation of Charles Dickens' unfinished novel. They perform the tale of the upstanding young Edwin Drood who mysteriously disappears one stormy Christmas Eve and is presumably murdered. But who did it? John Jasper? Princess Puffer? Reverend Mr. Crisparkle? This play-within-a-play draws the audience toward one of the production's most talked-about features, which allows the audience to vote on the solution to a most unusual and hilarious finale!

Winner of the 2005 Outer Critics Circle for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical, this parody, full of sinfully spectacular dancing and irreverent humor, depicts a heavenly guy group of 5 small-town boys--Matthew, Mark, Luke, Abraham and Juan--trying to save the world one screaming fan at a time. Their pious pop act, including lyrics like "Girl You Make Me Wanna Wait" and "Jesus Called Me On My Cell Phone," worked wonders on the Ohio bingo-hall-and-pancake-breakfast circuit. But when fate brings them to New York, will the Boyz take a bite out of the forbidden apple? With angelic voices, sinfully spectacular dancing and a touching story, Altar Boyz is destined to rock the masses of all denominations!
